What to Check in Baby Gift Product Photos

Product photographs are useful for comparing a gift’s design, but they do not replace the item description. Use them to identify questions, then confirm the details in the listing before ordering.

Start with the full product

Find a photograph that shows the whole item. Notice its shape, the position of the name and how the motif is arranged. A close-up may show texture beautifully while leaving the overall layout unclear.

For a set, compare the photograph with the included-items list. Flowers, baskets, hangers and other styling pieces may be props. Do not assume everything in the scene comes with the order.

Zoom in on personalization

Look at the lettering and its relationship to the illustration. Then check the available options. The sample name in a photo is an example; it is not the wording that will automatically appear on your gift.

If you want the same layout for a longer name, ask whether that is possible. Do not infer an unlimited text option from a large-looking blank area.

Use measurements for scale

Treat colour as an approximation

Lighting and screen settings can change how colours appear. If matching an exact shade is essential, ask the shop what information it can provide. A screenshot from one device is not a precise colour specification.

Make a short question list

Before checkout, resolve anything the photographs leave unclear: contents, size, name placement, fabric or care. A good question names the specific product and the detail you need confirmed.
